Nissan Altima Oil Leak Repair (Oil Cooler Gasket Replacement) 2003-2005 (and more model years too)

The video below is presented by www.AnyoneCanFixIt.com because I don't want you spending $700 for a 10 minute repair job on your Nissan Altima. If you live in the Raleigh, NC area, I'll only charge you $350 for the repair and even treat you to a soft drink ;)

This is a common failure on the Nissan vehicles. This procedure is performed on a 2004 Nissan Altima with a 3.5L engine. All you need is a good jack, a good set of jack stands, a 22mm deep socket , a 10 mm socket, and the replacement oil (and filter if you make an oil change out of it).

What you typically find is an oil leak that develops rather quickly and constantly leaves you nice puddle of oil in your garage every time you park it over night (...a puddle defined in this case to be about 8 inch diameter circle of oil). Almost every Nissan dealer out there will charge you no less than $700 for this repair and the reality is that it is just a little more than what is required for an oil change. DON'T PAY A DEALER +$700 TO DO THIS!!!

If you need the oil cooler gasket, contact me through the web site www.AnyoneCanFixIt.com with your VIN number, and I will provide you with a gasket for free WITH the purchase of the instructions for this entire repair procedure. Or, you can contact me at absolute.tech.inc@gmail.com.

If I have encouraged you to save yourself $700 and you have successfully fixed your oil leak, please consider leaving a donation at www.AnyoneCanFixIt.com to keep me motivated to post more detailed instructions like these (Did you know that I have the steps to replace the front struts yourself to get rid of that annoying knocking noise that comes from the front suspension...another very common problem in this vehicle).

Enjoy!
